Widely recognized as one of Canada’s most successful investment counselors, Mr. Goodman has more than four decades of investment experience as a securities analyst, portfolio manager and senior executive.
Mr. Goodman is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dundee Corporation, the Chairman of DundeeWealth Inc. and the Chairman and CEO of Ned Goodman Investment Counsel Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dundee Corporation.
Founder and benefactor of the Goodman Institute of Investment Management, a graduate school for investment management at Concordia University, Mr. Goodman is also the Chancellor of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews, a Governor of Junior Achievement of Canada and a former Director of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. He is also a founding director of the Roasters Foundation, the Jodamada Foundation and the Dynamic Fund Foundation.
Mr. Goodman has a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto. He earned the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst in 1967. In 1997, he was awarded a Doctorate of Laws, honoris causa, by Concordia University.
